Enter the school, leave the school and eat dinner with everyone else. that's only the beginning of what you can do here on the ground floor. it's the first thing you see when you enter the school itself from the large oak doors after your journey across the lake, and the last thing you see on your way out for summer break.

Sub-boards: Entrance Hall , Great Hall, Kitchens, Marble Staircase

If ever you need a good book, you can find the library here, as well as the hospital wing, better for when you need healing. the matron is always on the ball when dealing with the accidents of the students, but the librarian isn't so forgiving if you disturb the silence of the library. consider yourself warned.

Transfiguration, charms...all of the practical classes seem to have been put on this floor, crowding the corridor with many doors and classrooms. the stream of students milling around here is always rather intense as they shuffle back and forth trying to avoid running into one another, but they somehow manage to squeeze into the spaces without issue.

Many of the surprise rooms seem to be found on this floor, where they are constantly changing and causing students to be careful when they open the door. don't bother trying to figure out what kind of system is being used. the school just changes room at random to mess with everyone's heads.

Defence against the dark arts is a favoured subject, even here, and this is the floor that you can find the class on. it's also where you can find the muggle studies classroom and perhaps, if you're lucky, you'll find another place before they have some kind of special event.

There's not much up here besides the ancient runes class, so this floor isn't commonly visited by the students unless in passing. nevertheless, there are those who seem to like the isolation and spend some of their free time lurking around, curious to see what others might be up to.

Built solely because seven is a powerful number, this floor holds many of the rooms that don't quite have an academic purpose. if ever you find yourself in a moment of boredom, this is perhaps the best floor to be on for a few little surprises.

The House of Hufflepuff is home to those who are Honest and Fair. This house in the past has been considered to be a house that produces witches and wizards that are tolerant of all others. Founded by Helga Hufflepuff, Hufflepuff House is represent by the Badger and the colors of Yellow and Black.

The House of Ravenclaw is home to those who are Intelligent and Witty. This house in the past has been considered to be a house that produces some of the brightest witches and wizards. Founded by Rowena Ravenclaw, Ravenclaw House is represent by the Eagle and the colors of Blue and Bronze.

A cobblestone area that is filled with several stone benches. The area is a fairly popular gathering place for students who have a free period and want to enjoy the good weather.

The Herbology Greenhouses are the closest to the Hogwart Castle entrance doors. There are six separate greenhouses in which different plants call home. Four out of the six are reserved for magical plants ranging from non-toxic to deadly-toxic. The last two are reserved for non-magical plants ranging from non-toxic to deadly-toxic.

The Clock Tower is the tallest free-standing form on the Hogwart Grounds. At the top of the Tower, there is a balcony that overlooks the entire Hogwarts Lawns out towards the Forbidden Forest and Black Lake.

The Wooden Bridge is a main connector for students who are traveling towards Hogsmeade via carriage. The structure is also used to gain access to the more remote areas of the Castle Lawns.

This Cottage is home to Hogwarts' Gamekeeper. The Cottage is made of stone and contains several different room including a full bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living room.

The Lawns of Hogwarts are vast and green during the summer, autumn, and spring months. They are vast and white during the winter months. It is on the Lawns that there is a wide flat where first year students take their flying lessons. While the sloping lawns lead down to the Forbidden Forest and the edge of Black Lake.

The Memorial Garden is a place where students may come to reflect upon their thoughts. In the center of the garden is a marble fountain with the Latin inscription of 'urbes constituit aetas, hora dissolvit'. Memorial Garden was a gift to the school from the Class of 2000.

The Quidditch Pitch is used for inter-house competition and Quidditch practice. The Pitch has four separate locker rooms; one for each of the Hogwart Houses. As well as designated sitting areas for Professors, Hogwart guests, and the four Hogwart Houses pupils.

The White Tomb is the final resting place to one of Hogwarts' greatest Headmasters, Albus Dumbledore. This is the only tomb that is located on Hogwarts Grounds.

The Black Lake is located to the south of Hogwarts Castle. Black Lake is approximately a half-mile in diameter. Black Lake is home to various magical water creatures such as Merpeople and Grindylows.

Sub-board: The Dock

The Forbidden Forest is considered to be off limits to all students due to the several dangerous species of plants and animals. Students must have permission from a Professor to enter.

The Village of Hogsmeade is a popular gathering area with various shops. On specified Saturdays throughout the school year, Hogwarts students years 3 through 7 have the option to go to the village to shop or hang with friends.

Knockturn Alley is well known for its dark shops and shady characters despite the War being over. Having an intersecting path that leads to Diagon Alley, Knockturn Alley is not a great area to wander about alone.

Home to several different levels of magic, the Ministry of Magic is in charge of Wizarding England. There are several different levels filled with different employees fulfilling various duties.

The wizarding version of a muggle hospital except most cases deal with magical injuries as oppose to the normal everyday injury.
